Our current GA4 configuration may collect information about page views, scrolling, outbound clicks, site searches, form interactions, video engagement, file downloads, device information, approximate geographic information, and other website interactions.

Google Signals is enabled within our Google Analytics configuration. This may allow Google Analytics to associate aggregated website activity with information from users who are signed into Google accounts and who have enabled applicable advertising personalization settings with Google.

Our Google Analytics property is not currently linked to a Google Ads account, and Measurable Results does not currently operate Google advertising campaigns.

Our website uses Google reCAPTCHA or similar security technology to help protect forms and website functionality against spam, fraud, automated abuse, and malicious activity.

These technologies may process technical information necessary to determine whether an interaction is legitimate.

We may in the future use email marketing platforms, such as Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, or comparable services, to distribute newsletters, updates, promotional communications, or other commercial electronic messages.

Where required, commercial electronic communications will be sent with appropriate consent and will contain required sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism.

Unsubscribe requests will be honoured in accordance with applicable law.

An individual's email address being present in our customer relationship management system, email system, or other business records does not by itself constitute unlimited consent to receive marketing communications.

11. Advertising and Remarketing

Measurable Results does not currently operate paid online advertising campaigns.

We may introduce advertising, conversion measurement, audience measurement, or remarketing technologies in the future through platforms such as search engines, social media platforms, or other advertising providers.

We rely on reputable third-party service providers and technology platforms to operate our business.

These may include providers of:

  • Future payment processing services

Current business systems may include services provided by Squarespace, Google, Zoho, Setmore, Wise, and other providers reasonably required to operate our business.

We select providers based on legitimate operational requirements and take reasonable steps to use established providers with appropriate privacy and security practices.

14. Payments and Financial Information

Current payment methods may include cheque, direct deposit, and international payment or banking services such as Wise.

Payment and transaction information may be recorded in our accounting, banking, invoicing, and business records.

We may introduce additional payment methods in the future, including pre-authorized debit or credit-card payments.

Where third-party payment processors are used, we intend to have sensitive payment credentials, such as full credit-card numbers, processed directly by the applicable payment provider rather than unnecessarily storing those credentials ourselves.

Payment providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States.

As Measurable Results grows, access to personal information will be limited according to role, responsibility, and legitimate business need.

16. Processing and Storage Outside Canada

Measurable Results operates in Canada and intends to serve clients in both Canada and the United States.

Some of our service providers operate internationally. As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions outside the province in which it was collected or outside Canada,

including the United States.

When information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, regulatory bodies, law enforcement, or government authorities where legally permitted or required.

We remain responsible for personal information under our control and take reasonable steps to use appropriate service providers and safeguards.

17. Employees, Contractors, and Authorized Personnel

At present, access to Measurable Results' client and prospect information is highly restricted.

As our business grows, employees, contractors, or other authorized personnel may require access to personal information to perform legitimate business responsibilities.

Access will be limited according to business need and appropriate confidentiality, privacy, account-security, and information-handling requirements.

We will not provide personnel with unrestricted access to personal information merely because they work with or for Measurable Results.

18. Safeguarding Personal Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information under our control.

These safeguards may include:

  • Restricted account access

  • Multi-factor or two-factor authentication

  • Secure business platforms

  • Authentication controls

  • Access limitations

  • Reputable third-party service providers

  • Secure devices and accounts

  • Internal privacy and information-handling procedures

  • Data-breach response procedures

No electronic transmission, cloud service, website, device, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

19. Data Breaches

Measurable Results maintains procedures for responding to suspected or confirmed privacy and security incidents.

If a breach occurs within our systems or a service provider notifies us of a breach that may involve personal information under our control, we will assess the circumstances, information affected, sensitivity of the information, likelihood of misuse, individuals potentially affected, and applicable legal requirements.

A breach involving one of our service providers does not automatically mean that Measurable Results information or client information has been compromised.

Where notification to affected individuals or reporting to a privacy regulator or other authority is legally required, we will take the appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.

20. Retention of Personal Information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, contractual, tax, accounting, regulatory, security, or business requirements.

Our general retention practices include:

  • Active client information — for the duration of the business relationship

  • Former client operational records — generally up to 7 years after the relationship ends

  • Accounting, transaction, invoice, and tax records — generally 7 years

  • Unsuccessful prospect and inquiry records — generally up to 2 years after the last meaningful interaction

  • Website contact-form submissions — generally up to 2 years unless incorporated into an ongoing client or business record

  • Accepted contracts and proposals — generally up to 7 years after the business relationship ends

  • Unaccepted proposals — generally up to 2 years after the last meaningful interaction

  • Marketing consent and unsubscribe records — for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate consent and compliance

  • Privacy requests and complaints — for the period reasonably required to document and manage the matter

  • Security-breach records — for at least the period required by applicable law

  • Information subject to litigation, an investigation, audit, dispute, or legal hold — until the matter and applicable retention requirements have been resolved

Analytics information is retained according to the applicable analytics configuration and provider settings.

Our current Google Analytics configuration includes different retention periods for different categories of analytics data.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we may securely delete, destroy, anonymize, or otherwise remove identifying information from it.

21. Accuracy

We take reasonable steps to maintain accurate and complete personal information where accuracy is important to the purpose for which the information is used.

We encourage clients and other individuals to inform us when their information changes or requires correction.

22. Your Privacy Rights

  • Ask whether we hold personal information about you

  • Request access to personal information under our control

  • Request deletion of information where appropriate and legally permitted

  • Object to or opt out of certain marketing communications

  • Raise a concern or complaint about our privacy practices

Additional rights may apply depending on the jurisdiction in which you reside.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a privacy request.

Certain information may need to be retained despite a deletion request where retention is required or permitted for legal, tax, contractual, security, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

Measurable Results is a Canadian company based in Alberta and conducts or intends to conduct business with clients in multiple Canadian provinces and U.S. states.

Our primary intended service territory includes Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.

Our privacy practices are designed around applicable Canadian private-sector privacy requirements and applicable privacy requirements in the jurisdictions in which we conduct business.

The specific privacy law or right applicable to an individual may depend on the circumstances, location of the individual, nature of the transaction, type and volume of information processed, and statutory applicability thresholds.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit a privacy right that cannot lawfully be limited.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our website for marketing or commercial purposes.

If we become aware that personal information relating to a child has been collected in circumstances where it should not have been collected, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.

Measurable Results is not responsible for the independent privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites that are not under our control.

26. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our business practices, technologies, service providers, legal requirements, or services change.

Material changes will be reflected in the version published on our website, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly.

Where a change materially affects how previously collected personal information is used and additional consent is required by law, we will obtain that consent where appropriate.
